Galaviz was wanted for the murder of a 16-year-old in Texas and is a member of a criminal family that traffics drugs and humans for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

El Pato is allegedly responsible for leading a wide range of illicit activities, including drug trafficking, extortion, kidnapping, and murder.
